The point: is that Robert frost uses the image of a cross Road in order to symbolise what it is like for a human being to make difficult decisions
Explain :
the one Road covered in leaves hardly been trodden in an do the other one with many shoe print marks in it saying one could be about being different to other people or going some place else then others such as hevean and hell.
Example :two roads leading to a good or bad life e.g hevean and hell, life and death, life ambitions and prison.
we the audience first meet Prospero in act one scene two where is cunningly evil man with magic in his possession he uses this to control the seas to create a tempest (storm) .he enforced it when actors such as Gonzalo,Antonio,Alonso, boatswain, master and Sebastian all where on their ship when in occurred .Prospero felt in this mood to create the tempest as being usurped had injected mixed emotions into him like rage ,revenge but also there was his caring side for Gonzalo who Prospero protected Gonzalo from Prospero’s own storm this was due to : after being usurped Gonzalo knowing Prospero like his books had built him a library.this quote expresses prosperos feelings of how he feels towards his brother Antonio “that a brother be so perfidous” perfidous meaning treacherous. Prospero feels protective when ferdinand Alonso son meets miranda he later on realises that the two are In love he then accepts it this quote explains about how ferdinand had strangely passed Prospero test “all thy vexations the were but my trials of thy love and thou hast strangely stood the test”. Prospero then has a change of heart from devious wizard creating a tempest to a person trying to change to be a usual man he shows this In act five scene 1by allowing Alonso a once hated person to Prospero to stay for the night “sir I invite your highness and your train to my poor cell where you shall take your rest for this one night, which, part of it.” this shows how he changes during the play he also shows change when he going to allow his life long servant Arial to be free and discharged of her Dutys after doing another task In act one scene two, to then be out of his hands. “do so; and after two days I will discharge thee Showing that he feels that he needn’t people slave round for the likes of him and wants forgiveness from people that did. He still however treats some people with foul language such as in act one scene two when speaking to caliban “thou poisonous slave, got by the devil himself upon thy wicked dam, come forth. Towards the end of the play Prospero asks for the forgiveness from the audience that he acts for , the reason for doing so is because he feels in need to change from the villainous man he was to be a good normal man wanting to desert magic including dispersing of his magical staff I know as in the scene act five scene one showing how Prospero does change. The quote I have chosen to support this statement of Prospero changing is “with the help of your good hands, gentle breath, of yours my sails must fill or else my project fails which was to please, now I want spirits to enforce, art to enchant…. Unless I be relieved from my prayers, which pierces so that it assaults mercy itself and frees all fault… Let your indulgence set me free ” this is Prospero saying that by clapping and applauding it will be there way of signing forgiveness to him.
